Introduction to China RoHS Certification
"National Promotion of RoHS Certification" and "China RoHS Certification" refer to the voluntarily certified pollution control of electronic information products promoted by the state.

On February 28, 2006, the "Administrative Measures for the Pollution Control of Electronic Information Products" (hereinafter referred to as the "Administrative Measures") was officially promulgated and came into effect on March 1, 2007. The "Administrative Measures" determine that the control of six toxic and hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) contained in electronic information products shall adopt the method of catalog management, and gradually promote the prohibition or restriction of their use. In order to cooperate with the effective development and implementation of the relevant work in the "Administrative Measures", the "Implementation Opinions on the Voluntary Certification of Pollution Control of Electronic Information Products Uniformly Promoted by the State" and the "Implementation Rules for the Voluntary Certification of Pollution Control of Electronic Information Products Uniformly Promoted by the State" have been successively issued. The "Implementation Rules" clearly stipulate the standards and technical specifications for certification.

What are the Benefits for Enterprises that Have Obtained China RoHS Certification?
The "Implementation Opinions on the Voluntary Certification of Pollution Control of Electronic Information Products Uniformly Promoted by the State" clearly states that the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shall take measures to encourage and support producers, sellers, and importers of electronic information products to apply for the state-promoted pollution control certification for the electronic information products they produce, sell, and import. The announcement announced the list of the first batch of laboratories approved to engage in the "Voluntary Certification of Pollution Control of Electronic Information Products Uniformly Promoted by the State" (hereinafter referred to as the "State-promoted Voluntary Pollution Control Certification").
