Materials to be Submitted for Certification Application

1. Application materials (Forms and documents provided by CQC)
A. Formal application form (Print after filling in the application form online or download the blank application form for filling)
B. Factory inspection questionnaire (For the first application)
C. Product description (According to the relevant product description documents of CQC)
D. Brand usage statement

2. Certifying materials
A. Registration certificates of the applicant, manufacturer, and production factory, such as business licenses and organization codes (For the first application)
B. CCC certification certificate (If any)
C. When the applicant is a seller or importer, a copy of the relevant contract concluded between the seller and the producer, and between the importer and the producer must also be submitted.
D. Power of attorney for the agent (If any)
E. Valid supervision inspection report or factory inspection report (If any)
F. Other required documents

Acceptance of the Application
After the applicant submits the complete application form and relevant materials, CQC will complete the review of the application form and relevant materials within 10 working days. For those that meet the requirements, a "Notice of Acceptance of the Application for Energy Conservation Product Certification" will be issued, and a certification project number will be assigned. For applications where the application form and relevant materials are still insufficient, CQC will contact the applicant (by means of telephone, fax, etc.) and notify it to supplement the relevant materials or carry out corresponding rectification within the specified 30 days. If necessary, a "Notice of Supplementary Application Materials" will be issued.

Basis for Quality System Audit
According to CQC/F 002-2009 "Requirements for the Factory Quality Assurance Ability of Resource-saving Product Certification" and the quality manual, procedures, and relevant supporting documents of the audited party, etc.

Currently, the energy conservation certified products include: household refrigerators, room air conditioners, tubular fluorescent lamp ballasts, rice cookers, microwave ovens, electric water heaters, and other products.
