Homepage - CarPlay Certification
Cars nowadays have reached the edge of the next generation, but most manufacturers are still just standing by and looking in, tentatively coming up with a few small gadgets to whet consumers' appetites, while some manufacturers are trying to break into the next generation. The older generation doesn't have high requirements for technology when buying cars, but the new generation of young consumers only think: if you can install the next-generation technology in my car, as long as the functions are cool and practical, I can accept it. Regarding the in-car technology of the next generation, I think the most well-known one is Apple's CarPlay. After CarPlay, many large Internet companies followed suit and launched various in-car systems. However, fundamentally speaking, CarPlay is an Apple system, and it is necessary for us to explore and use it.
I. Introduction to CarPlay
Previously known as the iOS in the Car program. CarPlay is an intelligent in-car system that seamlessly integrates the iOS devices of car users and the iOS user experience with the car's instrument system.
CarPlay is not only equipped with the Siri voice control function specifically designed for the driving scenario but also can be used in conjunction with car control devices such as knobs, buttons, or touchscreens. In addition, the design of the app itself has also been re-conceived, allowing you to use it without taking your eyes off the road and your hands off the steering wheel while driving.

III. Functions of CarPlay
1. When a user's car is equipped with CarPlay, it can connect to devices such as the iPhone and interact with them using the car's built-in display screen and control buttons, or the Siri eyes-free function. Users can easily and safely make phone calls, listen to music, send and receive messages, use navigation, and more.
2. CarPlay enables the use of most of the basic functions of the iPhone through the car's control panel. Some of these functions include the Siri voice assistant tool, iTunes music playback, Apple Maps, and SMS services. With CarPlay, drivers can make and receive phone calls without taking their hands off the steering wheel, and they can also hear the content of voice mails. To use these functions on the iPhone, drivers can touch the in-car driving control panel as if they were touching the phone, which can reduce distractions while driving. In addition, drivers can activate Siri by pressing a button on the steering wheel.
